I am in the financial services field and I talk to clients about money. My favorite clients are couples who are completely in love and are having issues with money. I help them communicate more clearly about money, put together a strategy, then take action. I have written a book about a couple, me and my husband, and their money issues. This is my first marriage and his second. He has a grown son. We have been together for 12 years. What's your vision?
I would like you to design a book cover for 'What's Yours Is Mine--When a Realist Marries an Idealist'. It is a lighthearted read with practical tips to help you and your partner talk about money more easily. My goal is that if I can talk about all of the mistakes that we have made, air out all of our dirty laundry, you can too. Talking about money, doesn't come easy. It used to be a taboo subject. It shouldn't be a taboo subject with your partner. I am self-publishing this 160 page book. The struggle about different ideas with money could be illustrated, but love and respect have to be at the forefront of any design. Money can be viewed as a serious topic, but I am trying to make it a little lighter so it is easier for couples to talk about.
