I have written a suspense novel and I am now looking for someone to help me create a book cover. Keywords to keep in mind would be: suspense, fear, control, overcontrolled rage, and indoctrination (the title of the book) Info is below: Indoctrination follows the induction and transformation of a simple man into a multiple murderer through the teachings of a more complex and sinister character. The character of the Father is an amalgamation of the psychological makeup of gang leaders, multiple murderers, and serial killers I’ve worked with; of course, no specific client information is used in this book. Indoctrination starts at the end of the confrontation between the Father and Detective Dallas Russell. The Father has ordered Dallas to shoot himself and Dallas can do nothing but follow through. The guided suicide is thwarted and the story shifts to the book’s main character, William Frank. Frank moves from his simplistic world of fantasy and his life with his sadistic, narcissistic wife Kelly to his wrongful imprisonment for the murder of a neighbor’s eight-year-old daughter. It is during his imprisonment that he meets Vincent Malvado, the Father, who indoctrinates William to a worldview that is torturous and cruel, but presumably rich with power. Indoctrination includes the psychological principles that turn someone from a meek and questioning individual into one consumed with the desire to reach idealized power. The setting shifts from North Carolina to South Beach, Florida, where William Frank, now transformed into Michael Poneros, tracks and kills his prey. The plot twists tap into our deepest fears and questions about who we are and the choices we make. Indoctrination is the first of a series about both the Father and Special Division Detective of the Miami Police Department Dallas Russell, who is psychologically intertwined with him. There are no boundaries and would love ot see what graphic interpretations you can come up with. The darker and more intriguing the better. GO WILD!!!
