ADHD Raising an Explosive Child With a Fast Mind , With strategies for emotional control and positive parenting to make your child feel loved
Kenneth Harvey is a father of a young girl with ADHD and autism. Kenneth has taken courses on how to understand ADHD and autism and how to learn to adapt to situations. After talking with people in the field with many years of experience with their own children to understand how ADHD works and how it affects the brain. He has spent many months researching and trying many strategies told by many people who suffered from the same pain he did raising children with ADHD and struggling to understand why they are so different. He has gathered information and strategies to teach other parents who are struggling with the same pain as him. Of course, these strategies aren't for every parent Kenneth has tried many that haven't worked for him and worked for others but if this book helps at least one parent then the book is successful
This book helps the parents understand their ADHD child and gives ways to be positive and make their child feel loved even when they are hard to live with. Gives strategies on what are good and bad disciplines and how to burn off energy so they sleep better. nutrients what to eat and what to avoid and most importantly how ADHD can be a superpower by showing them famous and successful people who have ADHD.
● Parents struggle to stay positive when their child is always the centre of the drama. ● Parents looking for activities or strategies to help keep their hyperactive children calm. ● Parents who struggle with the fact that their child is different from others. Parents that are angry with their kids and feel guilty about how their kid doesn't feel loved the way the other kids do.
I was thinking of a parent cuddling a kid with the kid letting off loads of words to do with ADHD but no real photos like cartoons maybe. designers can put their own input I might like something else as long as it sticks out from all the others as they all have a kid with swirl lines above them but I think the words would be a nice touch preferably older kids 6 and up
What to avoid
copying similar covers, be unique and different, most of the covers are white so maybe a darker colour with bright poping writing so it stands out
It all began with a design brief.

And then… they selected a winner!
Luigi has been absolutely wonderful to work with. His book cover design was the only design that made me feel really emotional, in a great way. I really didn't know how to design the front to convey what I wanted it to convey, and Luigi did it. He has been super responsive as I've asked him to make lots of little changes. I'm so appreciative of all his hard work!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
