What's your vision?
A non-fiction book titles: "Meditation in the iGeneration: How to Meditate in a World of Speed and Stress" Customer: Young: From teens to early 30's. Defined by their technology and media use, their love of electronic communication, and their need to multitask. Always connected to the internet, usually with smartphone, using Facebook, You tube, Twitter, Google. The book may also be bought by their parents who are concerned about their ADD, multi-tasking lives... and would like to see them take an interest in meditation. Would like the cover to be fun, light-hearted, inviting.
Here are two endorsements for the back cover. The difficulties of meditation can easily lead to feelings of frustration and inadequacy, as well as self-judgment and self-recrimination. Andrew Holecek addresses such challenges head-on, presenting a very helpful approach to meditation based on love, gentleness, and self-compassion. Reading this book is like having a friendly meditation coach who helps you through the rough spots and encourages you to work creatively with the challenges everyone encounters when embarking on this difficult but essential undertaking. John Welwood Author, Toward a Psychology of Awakening Meditation grows increasingly important as we struggle to find sanity in this fast-paced, stress-fill world. Holecek clarifies the purpose of meditation, dispelling – head on – the many cultural and personal assumptions we may have about it. A personal, encouraging, intelligent and fun read! Elizabeth Namgyel Author, The Power of an Open Question: The Buddha’s Path to Freedom.
