We publish books that build up the Christian community, promoting spiritual growth, wisdom, mission and creativity. We publish books from cradle to grave from children's titles to academic monographs and in between have a strong range of biography books and books helping people in their Christian Life. Our audience is readers in the Christian market, and we sell through bricks and mortar retailers in the UK and online retailers. We also sell titles to export markets including Australia and the USA among others.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a book cover to be designed for the title: @BibleIntro Sub title: A Bible handbook for the Twitter generation TARGET MARKET: This is a Bible handbook for the twitter generation and as such should appeal to the market that will buy for young people and young people themselves (aged 16 to 30). It may appeal to people outside this audience as a good first step to understanding the Bible; people that decide to follow Jesus but have little background knowledge about the Bible. It is also likely to appeal to buyers of gifts for young people at key events in their lives, baptisms, birthdays, Christmas and Easter! The cover needs to be bright and accessible.Authentic has recently published the ERV Youth Bible and we are looking for soemthing with a similar contemporary edge for this new book. ***THE FOLLOWING WAS ADDED TO THE BRIEF ON 26 AUGUST: WE CAN'T USE ANY OFFICIAL TWITTER MARKS ON THE COVER WHICH INCLUDE THE WHITE BIRD**** Sorry - thought I'd added this comment last week but can't see it anywhere - my mistake. • Maybe incorporate twitter symbols @# etc etc in the design? • Maybe the subtitle should be a hashtag? #biblehandbookforatwittergeneration • Use the following endorsement on the cover (though this may be replaced):For cover: ‘You've never been able to read the Bible so quickly, and get a solid overview.’ – Dr Bex Lewis Chris Juby provided the following hashtags which had been popular: #BibleSummary, #Bible, #Scripture, #NewTestament, #OldTestament, #BibleIntro, #Overview, #WhatToExpect, #SomethingToTakeAway, #KeyPassage, #KeyCharacters, #Chapters, #Timeline, #BigStory, #Introduction, #BibleStudy, #Handbook What the book is about: A combination of ERV excerpts and study material to help people grasp the Bible. The author Chris Juby was featured in the UK national media – between August 2010 and November 2013, he summarized the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day on the @biblesummary account.

Any ink coverage over these percentages will cause longer drying times, or indeed prevent the job from drying altogether, therefore risking ‘marbling’ or ‘smudging’ whilst binding/trimming. Bleed at the top needs to be at least 4 mm
