We are publishing ebooks on Amazon. Currently we are working on the series called Pack Your Bags, where people write about their adventures of living abroad.

Dear designer, We are inviting you to design an ebook cover for Amazon Kindle book series called "Pack Your Bags". It is a series of books written by different people around the world. The writers and the readers are in the age of 19-35. Each book is an adventure of living abroad. For example the first book is about a crazy road trip in Mexico and the second book is about living 3 years in Sweden. There will be more books in the near future. As it is an ebook, we only need the front cover of the book - there is no need for the back cover of the ebook. Instead we would like you to present 2 front covers (one for the book about Mexico and one for the book about Sweden) - this would present how the concept of series is planned in the design. While designing, you should keep in mind that some of the costumers will be seeing the cover in black and white (those using Kindle device) and some will be seeing it colorful (those who have installed Kindle to their iPad or PC etc). On other important aspect is that cover art with white or very light backgrounds can seem to disappear against the white background. Adding a very narrow (3-4 pixel) border in medium will define the boundaries of the cover. The first cover has the following elements: Author: Jeandre Gerber Title: My Strange Mexican Tale Name of the series: Pack Your Bags The second cover has the following elements: Author: Stephanie Mikneus Title: My New Life in Sweden Name of the series: Pack Your Bags Technical aspects: - In the end we need JPEG, or .jpeg for uploading the cover image. - we will also need the design files in vector or psd. We should be able to use the font that is used on the design - for example if the ebook is translated to German, we can change the title to German by ourselves. At the same time, we also hope to continue cooperation with you with future books - the fee would be smaller for next books, but we can discuss it while designs have accepted. - Dimensions: requirements for the size of your cover art have an ideal height/width ration of 1.6, this means: • A minimum of 625 pixels on the shortest side and 1000 pixels on the longest side • For best quality, your image would be 1563 pixels on the shortest side and 2500 pixels on the longest side Best wishes, Riin Roos
