Hail System is a web based application which manages admin, orders, harvesting and logistics for turf delivery. Target audience is to the turf farming industry - farmers predominantly male (av 40 yr of age) although office staff using program predominantly female (aged between 20 - 50). This industry is often small family businesses. Currently a lot of small turf businesses in Australia use white boards and excel spread sheets to run their business. This program is designed for them. We want to help cut down their office work load. This logistics system is also compatible with accounting programs such as MYOB. I have attached some images of our target audience and their turf farms for your reference.

Initially the name HAIL was chosen as it stood for Harvesting, Administration, Invoicing and Logistics. Although we have moved away from that and like the meaning of HAIL - to call attention to something. We do not want a logo which has grass imagery in it! This has been done over and over within the turf industry. We want something that speaks of the mechanics of the program itself, not the turf. We would like Hail to be the main focus, then the word ''system'' smaller as the program is called Hail System. The winning designer will also asked to produce a Brand Guide.
