The designer came up with a logo idea direction no other designer thought about. The figurative logo idea was the key for choosing the design as a winner. Fast and friendly to work with and took remarks and wishes up fast.
Fantastic designer, very patience with great creativity and attention to detail, and enjoyable to work with. Thank you for an excellent job!

How Jon k started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
Bethany Church Long Beach
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a church in Southern California that reaches a diverse audience and loves being active in our local community.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
Blue would be preferable (though not mandatory) since we're looking for some kind of metaphorical connection to water in the logo.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
PLEASE NO CROSSES OR CHURCHES IN THE LOGO. We reach a diverse crowd (including many who are unchurched) so we do not want religious cliches in the logo (no crosses, hands joined together, etc.). We do not want a logo that looks churchy.
"Bethany Church" and "Long Beach" should be on different lines. Preferably same font but "Long Beach" will function more as a tagline (smaller). We are looking for simple and clean.
Also a plus would be the inclusion of water as a metaphor somehow (anything from the ocean, beach, drop of water, wave, etc.) as a subtle tie in but not over the top.
