WASABY is a 3 year European Union project running from 2018-2020.
The project involves the design of a model able to identify areas with higher cancer rates, so to study whether pollutant contamination may be a cause for increased cancer risk.
The project will also include the design of basic online courses to increase awareness of breast cancer risk among young girls and adolescents (12-19 years old).
We are looking for a logo and brand identity that is suitable for the two very distinct aspects of the project. Ideally it would be of a professional standard appropriate for the technical side of the project, and yet imaginative and appealing enough to fit the online information courses aimed at school-age young women.
The project includes partners from 5 countries: Italy (lead partner - the national cancer institute); France (Université de Caen Normandie); Germany (Universitat zu Lubeck); Slovenia (national oncology institute of Slovenia); and Belgium (the Association of European Cancer Leagues.
We believe that the name itself is memorable and could serve as a good starting point for the generation of a distinctive brand identity.
The acronym WASABY stands for "Water And Soil contamination and Awareness on Breast cancer risk in Young women". However, we are not keen to include the full project name as a slogan/sub-title for the logo.
