A free, private, non-profit organization, dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth, through the teachings of eight Core Values.
The values include Courage, Character, Compassion, Community, Career, Commitment, Communication and Choice.
An 8 week training program, with one full week dedicated to teaching each of the Rocket 8 Core Values;
A network of support and sponsorship, during that 8 week program, designed to ensure and monitor program success;
A graduation ceremony, upon completion of the program, to reward and reinforce participation;
A public relations campaign, that promotes employment by informing prospective employers about the merits of the Rocket 8 program and the values of its graduates;
A billboard campaign, which promotes both community and student participation, by placing the faces of the students at the center of the campaign.
Introduction materials and program completion credentials, which graduates can present to prospective employers when seeking employment.
Affiliations with multiple community employers and business owners, to facilitate referrals, introductions and program promotion.
Career support through information, assessments, counseling, education and placement.
