The Logo will be used also for our website ahornsolutions.de. Background for domain selections: ahorn (initials of Andreas Horn) - Solutions Potential Ideas for logo: - Ahorn in German mean maple leaf: Thus the idea to include the maple leaf into the logo to better memorize it at least in German speaking countries. - Color: There are quite some companies using the maple leaf in the logo (mostly in red or green). To diferenciate from this and from the Canadian Flag I wouldn't suggest to use this colors. I would prefer Grey/ Black/ Blue/ white as colors (max 3) - still open for other suggestions. - Like the Apple in the Apple logo is a bit simplistic something similar could be done with the Maple Leaf. - Association dynamic, drive, solution, smart, effective => This is not must have, thus I'm open to your suggestions and creativity. ADDiTIONS TO BRIEF (14th May): 1) Overall Setup of design: Logo with maple leaf left. Right top AHORN / Right bottom SOLUTIONS (both in upper cases. AHORN should be bigger than solutions approximately that both have the same with. Here some potential direction to for designers: a) Combine maple leaf with Puzzle (for solutions) example pictures b) Combine maple leaf with image on earth (like replacing a continent c) maple leaf outlines as part of a blue circle . Probably not ful maple leaf may be displayed - only as much that one could discover that it is a maple leaf. Much like the G in the sample logo (in red circle) d) Based Simplistic drawing of an maple leaf (like fish in sample pictures). e) Combination of maple leaf with anything representing the word solutions (e.g. the bulb) f) Any modification to the maple leaf which makes it unique - (could be something even funny) - think about the bite to the apple in the logo
