Check out bobslapnik's Illustration or graphics contest…
Runway sells an enterprise software product used to automate information technology administrative tasks on all types of computer systems in modern enterprise networks. Target audience will be technical people within large companies and organizations.
What's your vision?
The graphic should use isometric vector art (3D). There are multiple websites to download free isometric vector art, icons and graphics. Our software product is used to manage all types of computers, cloud and digital devices in complex networks. I look forward to seeing your ideas. I will give feedback. Let me know if you have questions. The graphic should be in portrait shape (not landscape). This graphic will be used in powerpoint presentations and possibly on our website. It will be used to illustrate the complexity of modern computer networks. Here is a list of required elements in the graphic. You should be able to find icons for each of these elements. • 2 Clouds – label one with AWS logo and one with Azure logo • Data center – This is an old-school on-premise (on-prem) data center. It can be an icon for data center or server icons. Put little product icons for Linux and Windows by the data center. - Next to the Data Center put a label = "Application A" • On-prem workstations – These are workstations or laptops within the main corporate network. You can put product icons for Windows and Apple by the workstations. • Show a person at a computer screen and label “remote and mobile users” • Edge Computing. This will be a smaller network separate from the main network. Edge Computing is a modern way to say Distributed Processing. This part of the graphic should have some Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) icons. You can think of IIoT devices in a factory. • Remote office connected via virtual private network (VPN) • Show a network off to the side that is not connected to anything. Next to a server put the label "Application B" • Put a person at a computer somewhere in the network and label “IT Admin” • Put a server icon somewhere in the main network and label it “AD Server” • Put 1-2 Routers in the diagram. Look at the hand drawing for inspiration. Note about the uploaded hand drawing. It is old and has labels for old technologies that should not be in this graphic. Don’t include T1/FTj, T1s, Mini, PBX, Frame Relay, PSTN, telephones, LAN Based Client Server, and Mainframe.
This graphic does not need to be realistic or to scale. Take artistic liberties.
