We'd like an "intro" / "cover" banner/graphic for a series of articles we are releasing, "The Beginner's Guide to Mutual Funds". (and two related articles -- "The Beginner's Guide to ETFs" and "The Beginner's Guide to Dividend Investing") We would like this contest mockup to be for "The Beginner's Guide to Mutual Funds". (Once we have picked a winner, and are receiving the files, we'd also like to receive the additional two variation images, for "The Beginner's Guide to ETFs" and "The Beginner's Guide to Dividend Investing". For these variations, nothing needs changed besides the text and the primary accent color, which is listed below. But for the mockup / contest phase, we just need to see the main variation, which is "The Beginner's Guide to Mutual Funds".) -- Here are the constraints: 1) The new graphic should complement the same color scheme as appears in our existing branded graphics. (The secondary accent color is the same for all three sites, only the primary accent color changes.) The Beginner's Guide to Mutual Funds * primary brand color: #3a456b * secondary brand color: #dbac26 ( ^ the mockup for the contest should use these colors. ) The Beginner's Guide to ETFs * primary brand color: #47385f * secondary brand color: #dbac26 The Beginner's Guide to Dividend Investing * primary brand color: #2b4430 * secondary brand color: #dbac26 2) The banner dimensions should be 900 pixels wide, and 400 pixels tall. 3) The banner should use the font(s) which we always use for our brand, these are Roboto and Merriweather. 4) The graphic should definitely contain the text "The Beginner's Guide to Mutual Funds" 5) At your option, the graphics could also contain our site names and/or site logos. I've uploaded some versions of these. This is not a requirement, you can use your discretion. For the mockup / contest phase, since we just need to see the main variation, which is "The Beginner's Guide to Mutual Funds", the pertinent logo would be the one that says "Fund Reference". 6) Here are two examples of similar articles with very nice "title banners", https://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-social-media https://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo Also, here is an example of a previous banner which we did on our own site: http://dividendreference.com/guides/dividend-investing-tips/
