Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a municipal Parks & Recreation department. We offer recreational activities, classes, programs and special events for our community. We have both a community center and an outdoor aquatic facility. We offer close to 130 acres of park land that include picnic shelters, playgrounds, athletic fields and trails. Our Target Audience is everyone........toddlers to senior citizens
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are changing our park signage. These signs will be located at the main entrances of each of our parks so they will be large in size and one of the first things park visitors see from the adjacent roadways. These signs will have the name of the park listed but we need help with colors, font and letter/word placement, etc. We would also like some type of image(s) on the sign. We just need an overall design. Park names include: Armstrong Park, Monkey Mountain Park, Butterfly Trail, Grain Valley Community Center. As we develop/acquire more parks, trails and open spaces, more signage will be needed.
Other notes
The City of Grain Valley plans to eventually change their logo. So, we will not be including any type of logo on the sign design. Attached is our current logo, which will eventually be replaced. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE THIS LOGO IN THE DESIGN.
