Landing Page For Wordpress Site for Indians In australia

Everything Indian

Aim of Everything Indian is to build biggest online and offline community.
It's a community related initiative but it's not non-for-profit.
At the moment website has three main features :
1. Give information to new immigrants in Australia.
2. Indian Classifieds/Services listing.
3. Indian Event Listing.

We are planning to add "Interviews of successful Indians In Australia" to attract already settled Indians in Australia.

Offline we will be organizing informative,cultural and entertainment related events.

So main Audience is all Indians in Australia and Indians who are planning to move to Australia.
Some information is generic so we are also attracting some Non-Indians.

1. Indian Ethnic Touch(Colourful etc) would be preferable.
2. From the landing page it should be able to give an idea that this website is related to Indians in Australia.So some reference or pictures of Australia need to be included.
3. It should give feeling of community website.
4. At first glance without scrolling down, it should highlight below features :
-> What information is on the website (Refer to the attached design outline)
-> Website lists Indian Business/Events.
-> Featured Business Listings
