Who are you known as?
The Finance Hub
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The Finance Hub is non-profit grant and investment provider, operating in the field of environmental finance. We work as an intermediary for several large, US based foundations; they provide our capital and we “on lend” it through grants and investments. Our overall goal is to align capital markets and sustainable food production. We work at a global systems level and our counterparties are banks, investors, and large environmental organizations and financial associations like the World Wildlife Federation (https://www.worldwildlife.org), Ceres (https://www.ceres.org/), Principles for Responsible Investment (https://www.unpri.org/), the Society for Corporate Governance (https://www.societycorpgov.org) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (https://www.wbcsd.org/). The Finance Hub's audience includes investors, development finance initiatives (DFIs), data-driven/ think tanks and finance-system related nonprofits. We'd like the logo to reflect the following values: credibility, coordination, collaboration, innovative thinking, responsibility, sophisticated, nonpartisan and clear communication. We would like our logo to tilt towards more private sector “like” – and to be distinct from more advocacy-based environmental nonprofit logos. The closest alignment is with the financial community. A close partner is the Moore Foundation (https://www.moore.org/) and Akipeo (http://akipeo.com/). We hope the parties we’ve linked to here can help you understand our community.
