SoldierSocks
Helping Service Members take their next steps forward
SoldierSocks is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving the men and women who are or have recently served in the United States Armed Forces.
For those who return home, we help to foster continuing education by providing scholarships and currently donate Ekso Bionic Suits to those (individual soldiers and VA Hospitals) suffering spinal injuries on the field of battle. SoldierSocks is here to help soldiers take their next steps forward.
Blue, Yellow, Red, Gray
SoldierSocks was founded in 2008. Our original mission was to
facilitate "sock drives" throughout our local surrounding areas. The
purpose of which was to raise, collect and send our men and women on
the front lines badly needed basic supplies, like socks, toiletries,
etc. We had shipped nearly 60,000 pounds via military transport by
2010. As the wars wound down we shifted our focus to helping those
returning soldiers by providing scholarships and advanced medical
devices like Ekso Bionics Suits that allow paralyzed soldiers to walk
or those with spinal injuries, to assist in rehabilitation. Our logo
no longer reflects our growth nor our new expanded mission. We need a
logo that maintains our name while visually letting people know how
much more we do now.
The 3 attached logos:
Brickell Group- we like for its serious professionalism
the Task Force- we like for its creative use of the logo within the
text.
Navy Seal Foundation- we like how they integrated some relevant
military imagery into their logo without going overboard.
The image of a soldier morphing from a wheel chair to standing up and
moving forward is one of our donated suits, this is a custom graphic
we own. Maybe a graphic of a soldier morphing from battle field gear
to scholar or being able to stand again would be good examples of
showing we are more than socks now.
**Please note- STAY AWAY from the usual cliche military visuals like
camo patterns or excessive use of red, white and blue, etc. The
image/logo should denote how much more we are now doing...
