Patton77 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge needs a new logo
Check out Patton77's Logo design contest…
We are a church that is also trying to be attractive to people who typically don't like church -- therefore we don't want a logo that looks religious or cheesy in any way. Our concept of the church is to be a bridge for people in the community, and we are located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana -- thus our name, The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge. Our mission is to help connect people to God in their daily lives (like a bridge connects two distinct entities) and also connect them to great spiritual friendships.
Logo types to explore
In the logo idea we brainstormed, you see a bridge that is made up of people, and we love how this conveys the overall concept of our church. We like this logo concept and would like to see it improved/expanded upon (for example the people end up being unrecognizable when you shrink the logo down), but if you are inspired in a different direction, we are not tied to it are would love to see your inspiration. Also, there is a beautiful bridge that crosses the Mississippi directly into downtown Baton Rouge, and I uploaded several photos for inspiration to this website. The shape of the Baton Rouge would be the best to use. Whatever direction you are inspired with, we need clean lines and crispness in both the graphic and the font -- the OPPOSITE of clipart. Thank you for considering the project!!
