American SPCC
We are a nonprofit. Using the power and reach of the internet, we promote the positive care of children, beginning in the US and then around the world as we find partners. We will make web based PSA's and other educational materials easily accessible to everyone. A positive and proactive approach to child abuse prevention using the efficiencies of the internet and social media.
Our mission statement:
"With education, awareness, and advocacy we inspire a positive cycle leading to a better human race."
Our target audience is generally age 45 and under.
We have an idea of a large teddy and a smaller teddy bear, perhaps hugging or holding hands. The smaller teddy bear might be holding a flag of different countries, so we can scale internationally. The smaller bear might have a t-shirt with a flag on it for the specific country instead of holding a flag also. The larger bear could be holding the smaller bear, or they may be holding hands.
We're open to other ideas also.
We want to relay the importance of intergenerational nurturing, promoting a positive cycle from one generation to the next.
We would like a logo that appeals to both male and female. Nothing too childlike. It should appeal to both adults and youth.
We would like a logo that has some personality/character/lifelike quality.
