Connected Dads
We provide coaching, small group training, online training, a podcast, and a free online forum for dads who want to be the best version of themselves for their family.
Target audience are dads who, for whatever reason, don't have a great relationship with their own father. Some could have not known their father, or some could have had harsh, abusive fathers or anything in between. Most likely, they are between 20-45, are successful, motivated, committed, and disciplined with a desire to have a great family life and lead their family with confidence. The reality is though, they struggle with believing they can break the negative patterns of behaviour they saw from their dad, and wonder if his mistakes will be the same mistakes they make.
They desperately want to make their family different, and they want a great relationship with their kids. They also want to be great at their jobs, and have a great relationship with their wife. They make mistakes along the way, and are plagued with self doubt and fear at times, but still keep working through it. They value their health, fitness, and desire to be financially successful, but not at the expense of losing their family or most important relationships.
The Logo should convey a sense of struggle, but also strength, stability, power and boldness. I'd like the logo to be able to stand on it's own without the name/tagline, but also integrate very well with both. Also prefer simple, clean lines.
Three core elements of the connected dads message are fatherhood, faith, and fitness.
Inspiration for the logo:
• Three Interconnected / equally weighted elements (Venn diagram inspiration) Or a triangle (three equal sides) and the fact triangles represent strength / stability which is what we want to instill in dads
• Themes are faith, fitness, fatherhood so if these can somehow be incorporated (i.e. each side of the triangle represents one element, or each part of the venn diagram represents one of the elements - then that might be interesting). Downside would be getting away from 'simple, clean, or uncluttered' - see next point.
• Simple and easy to recognize
• Clean and uncluttered
• Strong/Bold colours
• Appeals to dad audience
• Primary logo has dimension/depth yet can still be appealing when 'flat'
Could be a pictorial, abstract, combination, or emblem mark. Would ideally like the primary mark to be recognizable on its own without the "Connected Dads" if possible, while still working well together as needed for different formats.
At Connected Dads our vision is to build a global community of dads with a burning desire to live intentionally, lead with purpose, and win together.
