About us

Preben Dal was a Danish architect, designer and light maker. He used light and shadow as the focal point in his search for optimal working conditions in workplaces and as the frame of modern human life. Based on his fascination with light and shadow, he designed the iconic Symphony lamp with a timeless design and focus on the light's interaction in the lamp's surroundings. The Symphony lamps were created in the 1960s. The company aims to revive the designer’s vision, and use contemporary production methods to re-launch the original lamps as exclusive design made in Denmark.

The attachments contain 1) a 3d wireframe drawing of one of the signature lamps and 2) photos of all the lamps. Note the common traits are that they are almost all based on the identially sized rhombus, combined into squares, pentagons or hexagons and welded together. Also note the use of the dark gray tone in combination with the white.

Timeless, simple and elegant unicorn themed logo

I really had great time working on this design and m quite happy with results. My main goal was to design winged unicorn trotting showing off his wings. After creating initial silhouette, I refined and added small cuts to give it more depth and uniqueness, so this logo was born. Client was really happy with results as well.
