Helping one animal at a time
Animal & Pet
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to education, support, advocacy, rescue, and protection of wildlife in distress in New England. We answer the phone and assist callers with understanding how to help the wildlife they have encountered. In creating your design, please depict wildlife (land animals and birds) that would commonly be seen in New England and especially Cape Cod. The image should suggest the animal(s) in a non-agressive pose i.e. not a snarling coyote or hawk in attack mode. The image should give the viewer a sense of wanting to help wildlife. This piece is meant to be a companion piece to our main logo (see the "Friends of Cape Wildlife" logo below). Do not use a fox alone since that is what we are using already but a fox could be combined with other animals. Common to our area are chipmunks, rabbits, coyote, opossum, river otter, raccoon, skunk, squirrel, box turtle, great blue heron, green heron, gannets, gulls, cardinals, bluebirds, chickadees, eider, goldfinch, coopers hawk, red tailed hawk, barn owl, great horned owl, snowy owl, sandpiper, piping plover, sparrows, terns, red bellied and downy woodpeckers among many others but these animals and birds are all commonly seen here. We would like the design to feel similar to our main logo but clearly stand on it's own. Using the white image on this same blue background works for us and using a similar font is fine. Introducing one additional color is acceptable. Keep it simple but elegant - it is a logo and needs to be immediately recognizable as our hotline.
