Lend for America Summit
"Activating Impact" -- doesn't have to say the words, but should have
a visual representation of action making change: lightning bolt,
ripples through water, etc.
Lend for America is a national nonprofit for Campus MFIs, teams of college students who go off campus to find people who need help. Students offer basic financial advice and lend small amounts of money they have raised.
Every year, we host an annual conference called the Lend for America Summit. 80% of attendees are college students and the rest are professional speakers and sponsors. We need a new hero image/logo/symbol for the 2014 Summit.
Now in its sixth year, the Summit connects student leaders from across the country with national experts for a weekend of intensive training and peer learning. This year's Summit will take place at UC Berkeley on November 15-16. Through hands-on sessions that use real-life examples led by both students and professionals, attendees walk away with clear and ambitious plans for their Campus MFIs.
Our theme this year is "activating impact." We are focusing on taking
action versus passive activities like "learning". We are doing. We are
celebrating our high achieving members who really make a difference
through maintaining real responsibilities and working with real people
and real money. Please incorporate this theme in your design!
