Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a Lutheran (LCMS) church looking to create community within our community. We recently adopted a new mission statement, which is: "As Children of the Everlasting God, we are called to pray for everyone, serve our community, and encourage the knowledge of Christ's unfailing love." We are working on reforming the identity our 75-year-old congregation to better reflect this new mission. We are looking for a new logo that will reflect our "Pray. Serve. Encourage." midset, but also attract younger people to be involved.
We desire to reach families of all ages for Christ. Currently our membership is made up of mostly empty-nesters and very young families. We would love to add young adults and young families to our rosters.
We are located in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley in South-Central Alaska, which is a unique community that is relaxed, enjoys the great outdoors (hiking, fishing, hunting, camping), and is surrounded by three different mountain ranges. Our members spend a lot of time outdoors and love being Alaskan.

We've included our currently-used logos for reference, but aren't truly happy with either. We do love the mountains that surround us (pictures included in the reference attachments are Pioneer Peak and Matanuska Peak), but don't necessarily need that included in our logo either.
