adi774 came up with a great logo and was willing to make a bunch of edits to see if they looked better. In the end his original design with a minor change is what i went with. Great experience.

loved working with you!
Great designer. Would work with again.
We had a great experience working with this designer. He was professional and very responsive. When we had questions about the design or suggestions for ideas to try, he was happy to try out anything and provide suggestions and examples. He also continued to refine and revise the winning design after he had already won to make sure we got the best end product. We would certainly work with him again on another project.

How danleonard08 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Marathon Retirement Planning
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Gen X & Gen Y mostly, a little spill over to the Baby Boomers. The product is financial planning and portfolio management. Mainly advice on a hourly or monthly basis or Asset management for a fee.
A slogan I'll be using, but don't necessarily want in the logo would be:
"Investing for the long run"
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Accounting & Financial
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I selected the Blues, Reds & Neutral color palates. I would like something with a Red, White and Blue theme. It doesn't have to be flag colors, but I was thinking a blue and white for the main colors with a little red? I am open to something else if it works. One thought was someone crossing a finish line, arms raised and the finish line tape across their middle.
After getting some initial work, I am okay with the different fonts, I prefer something a little bolder. So, if it was on a shirt you could read it with out any problem. Also, I would prefer some kind of sketch, graphic, image or something with the name other than the initials MRP.
