I think one should try and draw ideas from the logos of some of the
other large financial institutions / banks / hedge funds, etc. One
characteristic that really sets us apart is the stunning location our
company is founded. We are based in Paarl, South Africa, which has
the most stunning views of these amazing granite / marble rocks. They
have a very distinctive outline. If this could somehow be
incorporated
into the logo that would be great. Please utilize Google to obtain
more pictures to get a idea of the location of Paarl (near Table
Mountain;
Cape Town) and also refer to the photo about the granite rocks I've
uploaded with this submission. Also please consider my very crude
drawing below incorporating the "M" and "R" of Marble Rock into a
(possibly 'brush stroke' design?) design that represents the mountain
/ marble rocks. I really like the idea of forming a picture from the
letters as the logo. Have fun and
