Supportive Housing of Waterloo
Supportive Housing of Waterloo (SHOW) is a non-profit that supports and assists homeless and other individuals that have been struggling with challenging issues in their lives.
SHOW provides housing for adults who want to live in an environment which provides 24/7 support and want to address their substance use issues in a non-judgemental environment.
SHOW also helps individuals address mental health, and hoarding issues and provides a variety of community supports.
SHOW provides a variety of services including:
Life/Living skills; Health Supports; Group meetings; Recreational Activities; Volunteer programs; Family reconciliation; Counselling; Literacy supports; Employment and educational referrals, and Community Education: public speaking, and participation in community events.
SHOW has been actively growing and is looking to expand its reach in partnerships with other communities.
It is important that the logo conveys an approachable quality to it.
Our existing logo (see http://www.showaterloo.org/) was designed to represent the fact that we were a new organization and growing, like a seedling, to make more impact, much as we hope to help our clients grow.
We like this concept, of the growing organization, and would like to consider including it in the design.
We also need to ensure that the logo conveys a sense of safety and security.
