GUS was outstanding and was quick to make edits as I requested throughout the process. His design was well aligned with my creative brief and resonated well with others as I polled people about their favorite designs. I knew he was my designer from day one as his design stood out from the other 250+ designs I received. Great job, GUS!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a research group within UC Berkeley's computer science graduate program. We as a group work on innovative research ideas to make modern computer systems (such as CPUs) more efficient and open (our sub field is called computer architecture to be exact). Our recent open-sourced projects include RISC-V, a free and open CPU platform (checkout http://riscv.org), and Chisel, a modern language designed to increase productivity of hardware designers (checkout https://chisel.eecs.berkeley.edu). Our target audience is other research groups, as well as industry partners who use our open-sourced projects.

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Please take a look at the guidelines document I have attached. We would like to see a couple logos with “Berkeley Architecture Research” and “BAR” names on them. Our group likes word play, so the logo should capture a bear (since the UC Berkeley logo has a bear in it) and the bar (as in the place you go for a drink) theme. Please see the attached photo for inspiration.
