Create a modern logo that exhibits aromatherapy with 'attitude'

Worked with a designer last year. They took 4 months to complete my logo after I had already paid them. I created the sketch for my previous design, but the designer took it very literal. The design doesn't differ from the sketch I provided at all. It's obvious the logo looks very child like. It was intended to symbolically represent giving someone a temporary 'lift' when they need it although they are capable. ie; the balloons carrying the soon to be butterfly. Do not submit anything that looks like the previous logo. I hate the design. I like the butterfly coming out of the cocoon only because of its symbolic meaning, but I am open to other ideas that are similar or represent the same meaning. The name of the company has little to nothing to do with the products itself, but if it can somehow be incorporated into the overall design I would be impressed. The previous design was really bright, I respect earth tones for a more modern, but not too dark. Avoid black, gray, and dark purples. I don't want it to look overly youthful or Disney like. I also don't want it to look to dull or masculine. I'm in for a complete rebrand of my company as I've gained a lot more orders the past year, but just starting here with the logo- keep this in mind because I would love to continue to work together on the next few projects.
