Coach and Ally Training
Coach and Ally Training is an educational and professional training/development program administered by a non-profit organization under the umbrella of another, larger set of programs called the "Good Life Center." The Coach and Ally Training program teaches people who care for individuals with developmental disabilities (DD), including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and others, to treat both the people they serve as well as their fellow co-workers with respect and dignity. They do this by creating a positive culture in which people are happy, healthy, and generally living a "good life." Graduates of the Coach and Ally Training program then go back to their workplaces and serve as trainers for their co-workers, thereby spreading this worldview to service providers and other support staff and creating a positive culture throughout our state's DD service delivery system. Our primary audience is targeted toward professionals who provide direct care to people with developmental disabilities (and their supervisors).
This logo project must closely match a design we've already incorporated into our branding for the umbrealla program (see attachments, "Good Life Training" is the umbrella program, "Bridges to Transition" is another sub-program similar to Coach and Ally Training). We would like the new logo to fit within the same "family" of logos. This means that we would likely be using the same supporting typefaces (Pacifico and Avenir) with "Coach and Ally Training" or "Coach & Ally Training" and "Good Life Center" text elements, in addition to a similarly-structured emblem/badge. The new emblem we are purchasing would replace the sun/cloud emblem in the current design. Our only specific color request is that there be a small element of the process yellow used in the "sun" of the current logo included within all proposals. The CMYK ratio for this yellow is (0, 10, 95, 0). Also, we would like for one element of the interior design of icon to extend outside of the emblem's perimeter, similar to how the cloud extends out of the current emblem. More than happy to answer any questions you may have.
