We are investment professionals with over 25 years each of international institutional experience. We have decided to take advantage of our knowledge and the power of the internet to simplify and systematize the investment process. To that end, we have designed an investment application which is delivered over the web that allows investors to allocate their investment money to the strongest parts of their investment universe in a non-emotional, efficient manner. By taking out the stress and emotion associated with investment and building in timeless “buy low, sell high” and sensible diversification and correlation elements, the application will allow an investor to generate better investment performance with controlled risk profiles and less stress over all.
Investors (30 and over) who want to manage their money sensibly over the long term. Ideally, this application should be used to allocate your IRA or 401k money or money that you have set aside for big long term purchase (children’s college funds, for example). This is not a get rich quick scheme. It is not a no money down program. This is for investors who have money that needs to be managed sensibly so that they can meet their long term obligations (retirement, college for the kids...)
We want a logo that references investment and the system. The idea of steady growth, investing without the drama and having confidence that the application will keep you invested in the right parts of the financial universe (stocks, bonds, property, cash, international...) at the right time.
I created a temporary logo from Rodin’s thinking man because part of what we want to convey is the amount of thought and experience has gone into the design of the application.
Although you do see the brand name in this logo, that is not strictly necessary.
Examples of Style we want to mimic:
We are in the process of redesigning our site to look more like these applications. We want to target this look of an illustrative logo and web app style feel on our site. This logo has to look like modern web application products!
Our thinking is that people are a bit nervous when it comes to investments and investment decisions. That is to be expected because mistakes can prove very costly. Therefore, we would like to work with strong but soothing colors. Yes to blues and greens. No to brash reds.
We want the final logo to be able to be converted to one, two, and multi color well. We would like it to be able to transfer to embroidery as well as print and digital.
Recognizable and Iconic – We want the logo to be simple yet recognizable and easily associated to our brand. Whether you see it in one color or full color, we want the shape and symbol to be able to stand on it own.
