Logo types to explore
I really want to communicate that this is an organic, resident-led effort to improve our community and schools. I would like the "kendall whittier growing together" name to be the primary name, but I would like to include the "A Promise Neighborhood Initiative" tag line. I have included a word file with this in mind. I like the use of an earthy element, as illustrated in some of the samples of other similar ideas. I also like the use of gears or something similar that demonstrates all the various elements of business, schools, residents, and social service providers working together. Our mission statement is: “To create educated, empowered and contributing families in the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood through a consistent delivery of outcome-based, high-quality educational opportunities – from birth-to-college – by assembling and sustaining an accountable, robust framework of partnerships and relationships.”
