Create the next logo for Nickel Family Farms

Nickel Family LLC is a family company that owns and operates two large farms in the California Central Valley: Rio Bravo Ranch and San Juan Ranch. We are in the process of developing our own olive oil to be sold in our store next to our office at Rio Bravo Ranch. The Rio Bravo is primarily a citrus farm, with substantial acreage of oranges, grapefruit, etc and the olives are a relatively new venture for us. The ranch is stunningly beautiful, with large mountains and canyon along its borders and the mighty Kern River running through it. Logos incorporating the mountains and river have been used in prior years for different business ventures. We would like to sell things at our store using the name Nickel Family Farms, to embrace the we are family owned and operated. We need a logo for this name that is simple yet not too sleek - something that has a country, artsy, hand-drawn feel to it. We would like to use this for t-shirts, hats, and anything else we sell at the store. Later on down the road we want this logo to tie into the labels used for the olive oil. The Rio Bravo Ranch brand is very recognizable on the farm, being displayed on signs at every ranch entrance and at the office. If possible, we would like to incorporate the brand into the logo for NFF, as it is already so well know. We really have no idea how this would be done. Hopefully one or more of you will! :) I am one of the family members and am working with a team off my cousins on this project. I myself created a couple of drawings for the potential olive oil label, and most everyone liked the feel and direction I was going in. However, everyone agreed that my drawings were too busy and colorful and could not be used as an overall logo to be shrunk down and used on shirts, etc. I am attaching my drawings, as well as our Rio Bravo Ranch brand and an example of an olive tree that we like. (Note that in one of my own drawings I misspelled Nickel Family Farms and never even noticed it! LOL!) We hope to have the logo display the mountains, the river, a citrus tree and an olive tree.

Basically we are looking for a simplified condensed logo that is inspired by the drawings I initially made. Everyone really like the look and style of the olive tree picture that I attached.
