In keeping with the idea of "Shadow" the logo should be primarily grayscale. I'm not against the idea of a single highlight color, but it should still be functional and clear if printed in black and white. Don't allow the fact that we work in the financial sector to lead down the path of a logo that is too sedate and dour. A more clever, memorable logo is never a bad thing.
