Connect, Prepare, Recover
We are a nonprofit connecting elected officials who have brought their cities well through a disaster with others currently experiencing a similar crisis to share lessons learned and speed recovery. Besides offering "disaster mentors," we will have a robust educational website where city and county leaders nationwide can learn from one another's experiences, with videos, blogs and a Q & A crowd-sourcing section.
The slogan doesn't have to be included in the logo, but I would like to see some options if designers thought it was workable. Re. values the logo will convey, this organization will be a new network for elected officials to support and advise one another during crises and disasters. Our website will avoid the confusing jargon found elsewhere and focus on simplicity, clarity and "news you can use." So while helping towns during a serious time of crisis, our approach will be more relaxed and contemporary.
