I am a freelance trailer, promo and sizzle editor in Los Angeles. I mainly work on promotional materials for television shows and movies. I am designing a new website right now and would love a snazzy logo to go with it! My target audience is made up of network, studio, and production company producers and executives in Los Angeles.

I think this is going to be a really cool and fun project to do! I'm looking to do a badge-style logo that incorporates a drum in it. I'm a drummer, so that's just an area of my life that influences how I work and how people know me, so I think it would be great to kind of play on that aspect. I would love the logo to feel classic, kind of almost retro in feel; like a said probably badge-style. I don't want to talk about how to incorporate the drum or really anything else because I feel like too much specificity can squash all you great designer's coolest ideas. I'll just say that I definitely want the drum to look like a snare drum - With a drum head, rims, tension rods and lugs, etc. But it should feel illustrated and like I said; classic. Almost like the badge of a classic brand.
Lastly I want to make sure that the logo reads as such:
Line 1: Mikey Carr
Line 2: Editor
So the "Editor" should be the subtitle essentially. Thank you in advance for your wonderful ideas!
