auman.josh got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a hipster logo for Reunion Barbecue
Check out auman.josh's Logo design contest…
This is a new restaurant start up. The focus is on reuniting people through barbecue. Our main focus with be pork slow smoked using real wood and fire. The idea is for a real community vibe. Young, old, rich or poor we can all come together and commune over great food.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Reds: Energy, action, passion and love. Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Let designers make suggestions:
Traditional barbecue iconography is totally acceptable and encouraged but also open to interpretations. - Pigs - Clevers - Wood - Fire - Smoke I like using a combo of cursive and no script fonts. To give distinction and separation of the two words. It is an option to incorporate the Tennessee tri-star design. Not necessary but am open and intrigued by its potential use in the logo. I have supplied some examples. I like vintage badge still designs but not all lettering. Would like to have a graphic to accompany text. "Reunion" should be larger than "Barbecue"
