Grants for Good
Community & Non-Profit
Active Chance is a charitable foundation located on the island of Curacao in the Dutch Caribbean. The foundation gives small to medium sized grants to people and/or projects that are doing good work on the island and making a positive difference in their communities. We target projects that wouldn't otherwise be able to do the work without our funding and grassroots groups who may not be formally organized, have a budget, etc. but are still doing good and important work. Areas of focus for funding include (but are not limited to) education, health, children and youth, poverty and community development.
I am somehow drawn to the logo and image for the following island-related Broadway show and have thought about something similar for the foundation's look and feel: https://onceonthisisland.com. To learn more about Curacao and get more of a look and feel for the island (albeit from a tourist perspective) you can explore the following site: https://www.curacao.com/en/. You can see the current logo here but, to be clear, we are going for something completely different now: http://www.activechance.org.
