I love the design! It was a perfect contest to get inspired by so many designers around the world.
We're very pleased with the log design Hemmepower Design created for us!
Nice work! You were very responsive and incorporated some great ideas to make this design work. We're very excited about the results of the design and how it's going to help our new business get attention.

We are a church located in southwest Houston in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in America. Our core practices are worship, community, and service. We're inclusive of all people and we love it. We like to have fun. We're passionate about investing in the economically-depressed neighborhood around us. We are as much a community center as a church.
We're starting a new worship community called The Belonging. Our target audience is young adults, ages 18-40 who live in our neighborhood. Many of them our bilingual, first-generation immigrants, or children of immigrants. It's easy to feel isolated in this community and afraid of the streets, so what we really want to offer is hope, experienced in authentic, inclusive community.

My team likes the concept of a circular logo, since every part of a circle "belongs" to the other parts.
Several of us liked organic/agrarian imagery - branches belong to a tree, leaves belong to their roots.
We are located in an urban, densely populated area, so we'd like something that respects our placement in a city while inspiring hope in those to whom the city has been unkind.
A few words/phrases that describe us are: family, no one left out, sharing the burden, roots, city church, earthy (we have a community garden).
The images I've uploaded are simply copies of logos that we found on the Internet and liked.
