The motivation for this effort is to distill popular neuroscience content and scientifically-informed philosophy based on a paradigm shift in neuroscience and social sciences toward the study of emotion and the relational unconscious. There are few topics that have been more marginalization in contemporary science than the topic of human spirituality. A major reason for the marginalized of human spirituality by science is the socially constructed idea that materiality and spirituality are binaries, necessarily distinct and opposite from one another. We are eager to deploy the principle of centralizing the marginal and the principle of rupturing binaries by leaning into spiritual discourse with an explorative rather than a reductive scientific analysis.
The first major project in a series of interrelated projects will be crafting and launching a podcast. The podcast will attempt to synthesize spirituality discourse and scientific analysis through interviews and conversations with experts in the fields of neuroscience, philosophy, religious studies, social sciences and popular culture. YOUR HELP in refining the logo of the podcast is a big step in creating a brand name and image that will- we hope--do justice to the deep, rich questions about the human condition that have traditionally been relegated exclusively to spirituality and eschewed by science. As a cause, our aim is akin to that of The School of Life in London. Seeking to preserve, restore and reconstruct societal emotional, and relational intelligence, through promoting community, limbic connection, and the identification of ideology/philosophy/best practices for individual and cultural health and eudemonia creation.

The following is a link of an artist who understands the science behind this not-for-profit cause. It will be good for idea generation to understand the abstract concept of emotionality being a neurological process... linked anatomically to the right hemisphere of our brains. We want to allude to the idea of emotionality intelligence (represented by the the "HEART") which in this neurological context refers to the emotional attachment system. This Guy is an amazing artist.... http://www.brian-curtis.com/text/co…imacy.html
Furthermore, the parent charity that owns the podcast is called "Have a HEARTE" with and E on the end of heart which stands for emotionality or emotional intelligence. HEARTE is an acronym for "Human Evolution through Affect Regulation Theory and Emotionality." The not-for-profit helps develop emotional intelligence and curricula for scientifically informed spirituality and morality (which is dying in the modern era). I will attache an image of Have a HEARTE's logo to this brief. It is a companion podcast logo to this logo which we need a design for that represents the heart in conjunction with the brain as a source of balanced wisdom and spirituality. We want to elicit the imagery of the brain and heart and coming together to develop courage and wisdom to face fear and to discern truth etc. (reminiscent of the pop culture meme of the wizard of oz or the serenity prayer). This is a science-based charity geared towards increasing human health, connection, attachment, and emotional well being through scientifically informed philosophy. Our guests on the podcast will be the worlds leading scientists, philosophers, activists and spiritual leaders in a well funded way. The best way to explain the charity's cause is to use "The School of Life" in London as an example which has a similar objective and mission. We are interested in partnering with the school of life and helping them expand into the US... https://www.theschooloflife.com
