Red Mesa Counseling (you can eliminate "counseling" if you include the slogan)
A Counseling Center for The People (this is optional)
We are a behavioral health program housed within a larger Non-Profit agency called The Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake City. Our program provides mental health, domestic violence and substance abuse counseling services primarily for Native Americans in the Salt Lake City area.
Native American design tends to use earth tones, including the Reds you might find in the red rocks of southern Utah or Arizona.
We would like a pretty clean, simple logo that would look good in various sizes and media, i.e., stationary, pamphlets, business cards, banners, etc. Native American design and themes will be important. The logo I'm including is modeled after a restaurant in New Mexico so we can't actually use it-I was just fooling around with ideas. The 2nd image is the logo for our agency-it would be nice to include it in the design somewhere just to demonstrate that we're under the umbrella of the larger agency. The third & fourth images are the Medicine Wheel, which is an important symbol in many Native American cultures, which we model our treatment after. All/any of these ideas give a flavor for what we're looking for.
