Community & Non-Profit
We are a chapter of a national group of women who donate to local charities. Our website and , therefore, our logo should be designed to attract new members and become better known in the community. We are a giving circle, not a 501 c (3) charity. We are entirely run by volunteers.
With our logo, we want to portray these concepts: giving/generosity, simplicity (of the organization), the power of many women working together, and growing membership. While we want to emphasize that we are women, we DO NOT want to portray the frilly pink/purple with hearts and flowers image. We want to emphasize strength, power and success. This is our current website: http://www.100womenwashtenawcounty.org/. We are changing the whole website layout though. Also, the logo needs to look good in black and white as well as color.
