Hi guys & girls!
So I'm working for Sytac, an IT consulting company based in the Netherlands, we do the recruitment and placement of top-notch Java(Script) developers. Also, we organize monthly meetups in the city of Amsterdam, covering a variety of technical topics, sharing knowledge about the latest stacks. And the logo/mascot design if for the meetup, not for the company.
Developers are crazy about funny stickers, t-shirts and other kind of "Dev Swag" as you can see here on this website: https://devswag.com/ For our monthly meetup, called "DevJam" we want to refresh our logo, making it more playful and turn in into a mascot. Our current DevJam logo which can be found here: https://www.meetup.com/Sytac-Dev-Ja…235573586/ is based on DefJam recordings: https://www.wikiwand.com/nl/Def_Jam_Recordings
For the refreshed logo's, I have two ideas which I hope one of you can make for us.
The first idea is to make the logo/mascot in the format of a "Jam Jar" like this: https://twitter.com/tehjamjar . on the label we can write "DevJam" in the "DefJam" font with slogan: the Sytac meetup.
Colors are a bit questionable. Our company colors are orange and blue/black but for this logo (see attachment), you're free to choose whatever you think is good.
The second idea is to stick with DefJam Recordings idea but then a much better and more professional.
