Animal & Pet
Company: Dogface Dog is a private dog training and behaviour modification business. Specialising in rescue/shelter dog rehabilitation, obedience, common behavioural issues, and trick training. The company is owned and run by a single trader who is holds certification through Australias only government accredited, nationally recognised, dog trainer certification course. He is also a certified trick dog instructor. The company does private consultations, and will be looking to start group obedience classes in the coming year. Target: The target audience for the business is local dog owners who seek to give their dogs a better life, and in the process get a lot of enjoyment out of their dog. Typical customers are people who have adopted animals from shelters, or have raised dogs themselves but now need more control due to poor behaviour. Other customers simply want to enjoy more time with their dogs and undertake obedience and trick training for this purpose. The average customer is 20-40 years old, often with a family. Unique Characteristics: Dogface Dog specialises in helping people who do the right thing by adopting shelter/rescue dogs. Often these dogs have issues and our aim is to assist in rehabilitating these dogs for the benefit of the dog, and its new family. The head trainer is highly certified via the NDTF (national dog trainers federation), and is a Certified Trick Dog Instructor too. Most competing businesses are have untrained or poorly trained staff Industry / competitors: Obedience clubs across the city, and some local behaviourists. Values: We are all about dog AND handler training, ensuring that dog owners get the benefit of our training system. We utilise proven training methods that get the best results, in the most positive and fairest way for the dog. Goals: To have a logo that will be used for all company material including business cards, website, Facebook, printed material, and clothing. The logo must be professional looking (rather than cutesy), but still fun, and be capable of looking good on all listed mediums. This may mean a silhouette / outline type of logo may be best, or a full colour AND an outline type logo for use on uniforms. Colours: I do not have specific colour ideas at this stage, other than to keep it reasonable simple and catchy. Specific Ideas / imagery: The log should incorporate some form of a dog or dog outline. Examples: Some ideas I quite like: http://sitmeanssit.com/dog-training-mu/columbus-ohio/files/2009/06/sms-logo-lg.jpg http://www.ozdoggy.com.au/ozthumbs/300x300/5578/DELTA_SOCIETY_LOGO-2012.png http://images.hotfrog.com.au/companies/Canine-Services-International/images/Canine-Services-International_234292_image.jpg What I need to receive: Logo options, both incorporating the business name, and one that is just a logo. Final versions when selected must be high resolution, adobe photoshop compatible, and suitable for high resolution printing on all media types.
