BusinessBroker got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Eve's Box needs a new logo
Check out BusinessBroker's Logo design contest…
Eve's Box is an online store selling quality gifts. The name is based on "Eve" from the story Adam & Eve and the box is the gift box that merchandise will come in. Eve's Box is an online store using the theme of "Adam & Eve" and tasteful erotic themes to sell high quality gifts (that are not erotic in nature) which involve the merchandise being showcased by artistic nude models posing with fig leaves. Also showcasing small to medium boxes in different natural settings and "themes" as Eve would be in.
Logo types to explore
Because of the name, we have envisioned things related to Adam & Eve and the Garden of Eden... i.e.: fig leaf, ivy, fig, apple, etc. The logo should be more elegant than childish... slightly whimsical is okay as long as it is on the elegant side. We're also fine with it being slightly erotic in design as long as it remains elegant. Use your creativity to come up with a great brandable design! Our audience will primarily be men buying gifts for their girlfriends or spouses and will primarily be within the US. We envision our logo being made available on shirts later on and it needs to be really catchy! It can be clean or a little erotic. Let your creativity decide which way to take it. Here are some things we have from our notes on ideas we liked for logos prior to me posting this contest... We don't necessarily like this image, but we like the fact that it is swirly and unique: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-17329611-circular-vine-icon.php?st=6d7c498 This logo is interesting: http://foyorganics.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/leaf-logo2.jpg This logo is interesting: http://logos.co/design/royalty-free-vector-logo-of-a-green-circle-with-3d-dew-on-plant-leaf-by-beboy-435 ...maybe a leaf on the "E" from Eve. We kind of liked the white gift with the leaves for ribbons in this image: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-10748519-green-icons.php?st=c540740 We liked the idea of possibly having a fig leaf in the logo: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-17540031-foglia-di-fico.php?st=aadf6b0 We liked the leaf on the first row to the far left as well as the third leaf on the first row: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-4160440-green.php?st=eac91a9 We liked the third leaf on the first row: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-5977539-green-icons.php?st=eac91a9 We liked several of these: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-15137128-green-leaf-icons.php?st=eac91a9 This wouldn't be suitable for us, but we thought it was very good at a dual meaning: http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/image_full_width/hash/88/85/sexy100.jpg ...our logo could be played off with a dual meaning as well This was unique as well and while also not suitable for us, it made us realize that Eve was the original temptation: http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/15536_174631622540_133167302540_3358454_5296325_n.jpg We've also considered how a peach or a sliced open fig could resemble a female body part and could possibly be integrated into a logo. A very nice logo: http://premammogram.org/logo_pm.jpg ...stylish, curved like a breast, but also resembling a hand as well as a person. A very neat logo as well: http://mamaknowsbreast.com/images/Boob_PinkLogo_Mat%2BNursing.jpg And an interesting logo: http://www.wwb.nezz.com.au/images/logo1.gif It could have the female symbol somehow integrated: http://graphicpolicy.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/female_symbol.png These are interesting logos as well... http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/268541_10150312101801469_595361468_9846765_2983158_n.jpg http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/sites/default/files/infinitoplacer.png http://www.portlandart.net/archives/seaf-logo.gif - uses fig leaf http://b.vimeocdn.com/ts/125/215/125215199_640.jpg - very cool http://dribbble.com/system/users/1120/screenshots/20168/shot_1273656125.jpg?1309019534 - also very cool... actually really neat http://evedance.webs.com/Eve_Logo.jpg http://legacy.mixmatters.com/hot/2008/images/Eve-logo.jpg http://www.mkettlerdesign.com/Assets/Logos/Eve_Logo.png http://imjustcreative.com/wp-content/uploads/apple-breast-logo.jpg - very creative!
