It was great working with greentouch. Very quick turn around on changes that needed to be made.
Plenty of amazing ideas and very happy to keep working with me on those until I was completely happy. I really appreciated the number of designs she showed me which was multiple.
EXCELLENT WORK, LISTENED TO FEEDBACK AND MADE CHANGES ACCORDINGLY WITHOUT ANY HASSLES
First class designer and he won the logo contest fair and square.
Although, the following is not a criticism of the designer, he's a good guy.
But, when you select your winner, 99D asks you if you want the winning designer to go ahead and design a brand guide, business cards and a Facebook cover. My recommendation is, use that money to put that task into another contest. 99D is a fantastic place for getting a design job done with lots of brains independently working on the same task. But when I commissioned the additional task to the winning designer, the experience was very poor in comparison. Language barriers, time differences and only one brain on the job is a far cry from up to 100 designers in time zones all around the world.
The designer was graceful and kind enough to agree to cancel the additional tasks as we seemed to be getting nowhere. He's a good, honest guy it seems and a talented designer.
Effective and powerful design with the minimalist ingredients I desired.

The slogan listed above is optional in the logo. Right now we go by "McCabe's Nursery & Landscape Construction" but it seems too long so we were considering shortening it. Both versions can be considered for the new logo. We must include our tree (attached) somewhere in the logo The trunk of the tree can be made lighter/more interesting. The shape/size/etc. can be adjusted as needed. Our two fonts are Montserrat (heading) and Alice (body) and I do not want to depart from them. The new logo needs to integrate with the existing visual identity presented on Mccabesnursery.com, our existing website. The blue in the current logo (square that is attached) is used in all of our marketing materials.
