Consider a stylized F, a stylized F and an i, or even a stylized F and an A (but it's really hard to get two so I'd focus on the F at this point).
REITERATE: focus on a stylized F - it seems too forced to get multiple letters into the design. Also I want a logo that looks great in mono color because I will embroider it on shirts.
What I've learned in this process is I want a logo that HAS SOME MEANING, even if it's just an F. A simple symbol with a word doesn't work. It needs to have a little meaning.
My three favorite industry logos are
http://Www.dimensional.com - uses a stylized D to represent "dimensions"
http://Www.mercer.com - uses a stylized m, and almost represents different dimensions of investing as well
http://Www.creditsuisse.com - Uses some sort of sails, which is just a cool logo but it misses out on using the C and S.
NOTICE how those three logos have meaning tied with the logo. I would recommend either coming up with a VERY creative logo which illustrates "being smart with money" OR using the F as a stylized F in the symbol. ADDITIONALLY, using Fi as the first two letters of Finacuity is also fine.
I need a strong symbol that inspires confidence and strength. I realize this isn't easy because the name is a made up word, but it means really smart with money.

I JUST GUARANTEED THE CONTEST!
ALSO I will very likely hire the winner to do my stationary design.
