We are a CrossFit gym in Los Angeles, focusing on functional, body weight movements.
Logo types to explore
We want our gym logo to convey fitness, energy, and simplicity. It should be aggressive, but simple. We want a logo that will be recognized as California or Los Angeles specific. We like the sample image provided (it's the logo for a gourmet hamburger restaurant in the city near us). We've been visualizing the state of California as part of the design, or the California Grizzly bear, or a bear paw, or something else but that's not totally necessary. Other notes: -The design should not include too much of a gradient. That looks good on the web, but is difficult to pull off for printing merchandise and apparel. -The design works well on the web when it's optimized for horizontal space, but does not necessarily have to be this way. If there is a vertical design that looks good we're open to that as well. -Some of the other CrossFit gyms incorporate images of the equipment as part of their design, like kettlebells and barbells.
