We're an insurance company (both B2C and B2B) with an existing brand and we've joined a charitable giving organization that is helped us build our own charity called CoVerica Cares. This organization called Communities Foundations manages a billion dollars in charities so being a part of their brand/management is a huge deal for us.
We're picking a handful of local causes in our community and our charity will raise money, volunteer hours, and awareness for these charities. This will be something shown to our clients, prospects, and the community as the giving arm of our business. It needs to be cohesive with our existing logos and mark but feel free to play with the mark in some way you see fit.
I hate to influence the design with this one idea but it shows where my mind was going. Our logo mark is an infinity symbol and the top of a heart shares the same basic shape as the top of an infinity symbol. Maybe doing some kind of two color flat play on that. I'm just saying this not because I want to see a heart on each design but just kind of one of several avenues you can go down.
We have another company called CoVerica Agency Alliance that helps small insurance agencies start up so I imagine this "CoVerica Cares" logo will sit alongside the other two brands on several print and web media.
I've attached branding guides for CoVerica and Communities Foundations and I'm thinking about keeping our logo pretty standard but maybe using their color set.... I'm not sure, give me options. It needs to look like our brand but also comingle with theirs some how.
