gifts that grow
moss takes the idea of a flower delivery service, but instead offers "gifts that grow", in the form of terrariums and beautiful succulents. It is a more unique (and longer lasting) gift, meaning less waste, and a lasting impression on the gift receiver. The target audience is geared towards both male and female, and is not traditionally female focused like a normal flower delivery service. The target age is 20 - 40, and leans towards modern, clean luxury. When I think about our product values, I would liken it to a Scandinavian fashion or interiors brand. Think soft hues, simple lines, the use of grey and white. However because this is a natural product, it still has a slightly more organic and green feel to it. I imagine the receiver of a moss gift to take it home to their lovely apartment or house that is full of natural light, high ceilings and beautiful floorboards. That said, I would not place this right at the top of the luxury spectrum, as I want it to feel aspiration yet still achievable, and a chic, special gift to give someone, without costing the earth (mind the pun).
- I would prefer the name to be in ONLY lower case or ONLY capitals, not a mix of both. - You will see by my examples that the fonts are not particularly organic looking. I would like to have this kind of modern, minimalistic feel to the logo, but still avoid it feeling too cold or artificial. - In regards to the picture to be included, I am open both to the geometric styles as well as the sketch/illustrative styles, as you can see in my references. I am open to the incorporation of a kind of watercolour vintage illustration (leaves, rather than flowers). It doesn't need to necessarily have a prominent logo, it could be something as simple as an illustration of a plant behind the logo etc (see references of falling mushroom and 'senato' pictures above) - Also it would be good to incorporate both the company name "moss" as well as the slogan "gifts that grow". The slogan should be much smaller than the company name though. - I do not want the photos of our products as part of the logo. These reference photos are just giving you an idea of the products we sell

Julia was absolutely incredible to work with. From start to finish she was positive, responsive, helpful, professional, and very creative. She is an excellent communicator and designer and was available to help and make adjustments through every step of the process. She went above and beyond. I am so completely satisfied with her work. I would gladly work with her again, and highly encourage you to work with her, too.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
